Social Good Consulting is looking to fill the following positions:

Marketing & Communications Intern - Help us with small and large marketing projects. 

10-15 hours per week; flexible schedule

This is an unpaid internship providing one student with a great opportunity to gain experience in marketing, public relations, social media and corporate communications for small business. We are a small office so you will be receiving a lot of hands-on experience. The role relies heavily on technology and requires a great deal of research, so our intern needs to be resourceful, Internet savvy and willing to be creative in compiling data. Excellent writing skills, superb attention to detail and creative thinking are a must.

Preferred Skills * Marketing savvy, creativity and forward thinking * Social media/networking Web site user * Written and verbal communication * AP Style copywriting and editing skills * Research and competitive analysis * Organization and attention to detail * Familiar with Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint programs * Graphic design and WordPress knowledge is helpful * High energy, positive attitude and a desire to contribute and learn

Duties will be assigned according to skill level and career focus, and can include:

*Updating of website, blog and social networking sites
*Assistance with marketing efforts and email campaigns
*Market, industry and competitive research
*List management within client relationship management software and email marketing tools
*Assistance in writing and designing various collateral pieces, including brochures, letters and postcards, Web copy, email marketing, press releases, media pitches
*Monitoring marketing effectiveness through various analytics tools
*Assistance in producing and promoting Internet radio show
